As far as selling goes.... How much do you guys think he's getting for a Flamberge with non max mod? I say customize and merch it if you dont want it anymore. (Maybe remove the max upgrades before)

buy a 500g/1k green and customize that

since war spend a lot of time on auto-attack buildin up adren
it does make a diff

i even customize my monk staves cuz wand dmg is pimp

Great Justice disables the need for 'auto-attack', I suggest using that with enegy moves to build adren.

Since you have heroes, you might aswell not bring a res. Swords don't need the elite to be effective, so you're free to choose there. Mod the sword with a zealous hilt so you can use Asuran Scan more frequently, cancel Frenzy when under severe damage, customize it. You can also take a Conjure, however you can't run Asuran Scan nearly as efficiently because of your energy with it, and I highly doubt Conjure comes to the point of it.

For your elite, I would run Word of Healing. Yes, I'm serious here. Get a req 9 Strength shield modded up with a +10AL vs. Fire damage / +30HP shield as a main shield too, since Fire usually blows up H/H and make things die and occasionally use the heal too, but remember your elite slot is free for anything. If you really want use Hundred Blades, although other alternatives are alot better, atleast in my opinion.

@Cartello:

Most of the damage most Warriors will ever do will come from autoattacking, maybe except the builds that use attack skills often (Earth Shaker, Dragon Slasher). FGJ just imrpoves your adrenaline build by alot, and the only good energy skills on a Warrior are Bull's Strike (In PvP, anyway), Wild Blow (Only on a Scythe Warrior, and even that's debatable as far as I can see), Crude Swing (In PvE for ES) and Crushing Blow.

If you're feeling a bit iffy on Frenzy, run Flurry instead and switch out the IMS for something else.

shiverpeaks is when you start running to a lot of mursaat so you want to make sure you got your armor infused during iron mines of moladune mission. also if you're having that much trouble, the problem may be with your heroes' builds. check the heroes and AI subforum for some decent hero builds.

meh i rarely customize my weapons, just in case i get bored with them and want to resell. unless it's not worth reselling, in which case i probably won't be hanging on to it very long anyway. it doesn't really matter in pve that much.

Not customizing your weapon is a stupid choice. You're either going to sell the weapon, or you're going to use it. Maximizing efficiency is good.

Obviously I did not read everyone's post but did anyone suggest the Quivering Blade or Dragon Slash build? It's pretty raw imo...add For Great Justice and thats +34dmg spamming...add IAS like Flail and a stance cancel like Enraging charge or Rush. I'm assuming pve so Asuran Scan is good too...

I'll check into that zealous hilt and asuran scan, how much do they usually cost? can I only have one elite ? and what is +10AL? as for hundred blades, I've only just been in LA for a few hours, and on my way to the Crystal Desert. It's going to take a while to get that skill

Also, what is auto attacking ?

What is infusing armor ? I got 80 armor templar, should I infuse them or get better armor ?

how you tell if your current armor is infused is by opening up your inventory panel and hovering your mouse over a piece of your armor. if it says "infused" then you're good. if not, you need to get it done, most likely in the iron mines of moladune mission.

btw, i think a hammer warrior is more fun and often more effective than axe or sword. and the two best hammer elites can be found in prophs: earth shaker and devastating hammer.

It depends how you use it. A lot of players will take [defy pain]+[endure pain] and rush in using them both at the start of a fight and be all "woohoo i have 1000+ health im freaking invincible!" because they also have [mending]. But then oops [endure pain] ends and then so does [defy pain] (because they are bad at managing adrenaline) and they loose 600 health (im counting in the fact they are running 2 superiors

) and oops they are dead because they are aggroing everything on the map. And of course its the monks fault.

If you really want to try [defy pain] tho i wouldnt bother, then use it cleverly, dont put it up as soon as you start fighting, use it when your health gets low to stop yourself dying, it gives your monks a bit of help and as long as they get you back up to full health before it ends you'll be ok.
A lot of Ettins and Trolls have it, watch how they use it.

I've also seen people call it a heal (AB ftw). Its not.

Defy Pain gives -x damage reduction now, so you may as well have it up all the time. According to the wiki discussion page, it reduces all damage other than lifestealing (including hexes like empathy). It's still not worth using, but it's worth pointing it out.

To be honest if i was restricted to prohpecies only skills and had to run the build tyla suggested i would run [[Plague Signet] as my elite. It has a 0 cost and a useful effect for warriors. Especially in later parts of prophecies. It does mean changing to /N and speccing 5 curses but that isn't much.

The only problem with sword warriors in prohecies is the elite selection leaves something to be desired. Thats why most people used to just run charge.

Yeah, I noticed there wasn't much to go for with the warrior, but I don't know how to change secondary, and I won't have NF/Factions for another week.

Once you get "Ascended", there are 5 quests in the desert that allow you to change your profession. Each one is named: *The *Profession*'s path*.

I'm not sure about this one though, but I think you can change secondary after you've ascended by going to The Great Temple of Balthazar and talking to the profession changer there.

The only difference is it costs 500 gold instead of doing a quest.
